ADOPTION PROCESS
***Please note, Pittie Me Rescue does not adopt out of state.*****
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to finalizing an adoption. All adoptions require a foster to adopt period; minimum of two weeks.
Adoption Process
**If you live in an apartment or rent from a landlord, we require written proof that you are allowed to have a dog based on the breed, size and weight you are wanting to adopt. (There is no exceptions) ***
Submitting the adoption interest form is the first step to a four step process which is as follows:
1. Application Approved 2. Meet and Greet 3. Home check 4. Successful foster to adopt trial period. All adopters are required to sign a legal binding contact and pay half of the adoption deposit at the start of the foster to adopt trial period (refundable if it doesn’t work out)

Winston - 7/8 year mixed breed. Full of love, energy and playfulness. He loves to play keep away, chase after the ball and go for short walks. Neutered and up to date on shots . Needs to be the only pet in the household.

Roman - 10/11 year senior pit mix. Don't let the age fool you. Roman is full of energy, loves road trips and playing fetch. This cutie is always down for a short walk. Neutered and vaccinated. Needs to be only pet in the household.

Adele - 9/10 life of the party. You would never know that this cutie is a senior. She has the cutest little hop when she is excited. Adele enjoys playing fetch, going for walks and rides to get an ice cream. She is known to sneak kisses or give you a wet willie. Adele is guaranteed to make you laugh with her vibrant personality. Spayed and vaccinated. Needs to be the only pet in the household.
